Im REALLY hoping Arenanet will open up the FULL servers for transfers when HoT is released because I have alot of RL and in game that (Basically an entire guild) that wish to switch over to my server. I really hope Im not alone on this.

If you have an entire guild that wants to switch, why not switch to a low population server with them?

Server population is based on WvW participation. You can expect full severs to open up when participation drops below a certain level. I’m not sure why anyone would think ANet would open up full servers so that even more people can bandwagon on to them.

Why would they do this ? With the possible influx of new players I believe their intent is to have those new players directed to servers that need players, not the stacked ones. It would completely defeat the purpose to open the full servers. People need to get over it and accept the fact that this is to help population issues not further destroy it.

Bandwagoning? There are multiple reasons why a person or persons would want to change servers it could be Personal drama, Their current server in WvW is dead and its no longer enjoyable for them, or GvG’s. Or Real life friends like I have that want to WvW with them. The new influx of players they will be able to join those full servers which will only make them only more full for further people wanting to transfer. If someone wants to transfer to a server because they feel their gaming experience will be better whats wronf with that. Imo i personally hope they Open them up for a period of time or increase server sizes.
