Did ANET anticipate this??? It’s pretty funny. People are farming COF mobs to level their Tyria masteries..I already see a lot of high level guys running around. I at least understand now why they wanted to nerf dungeons. Odd thing is, they nerfed the wrong stuff lol.

They nerfed what had to be nerfed.
Intend was to bring people back to events i think.. but honestly, there is nothing going on around in Tyria.
Except… that i will grind Dry Top instead, to get those Geodes and end up buying Mistsomething something for revenants exo gear collection.

Back to your question. I did not seen them anticipate it.
But i dont think you are violating anything by killing mobs in dungeon.
in fact, people will spend all of their boosters there, and without boosters its not worth to farm.
However, i expect anet to take out experience from those 12 mobs at the gate.

Who cares about their EXP anyways? if you want do the boss… you just zerk in, zerk out and zerk the boss…
But.. i am not sure how fast it will be to GRIND A (not so) SIMPLE LEVEL in old Tyria casual way.
We will most likely see a SIP OF MASTERY EXPERIENCE or something like that in near future.
There was an item from some Maguuma story like that i believe.
