So I need about 500 Empyreal Fragments and then I can craft a full set of ascended gear. I know dungeon farming is a fast way, but I really want to work on my HoT masteries while farming for these fragments…..

does anyone know a reasonable way to get them in HoT?

It seems like I’ve only been getting dragonite ore and bloodstone dust in most HoT maps.

Not only does this not answer his question, nobody does dungeons anymore so it’s bad advice.

You don’t need HoT for those, go farm SW and you’ll get flooded in them, literally. I deleted over 10000 of them because I had no more space left in the bank and got 50 stars already crafted. You can get 500 in 2 days there, take a break from HoT cause it’s bad at fragments.

500 should be 1-2 hours of chest farming in SW. You get a bit less fragments than dragonite and bloodstone but still so much that you have to delete stacks while chest farming

As far as I’ve seen there are ZERO in HOT. I’ve actually stopped doing my daily ingestions as I’m now running low.

SW is more dragonite heavy, but you do get a fair amount of empyreal, but you do NOT get HoT mastery progress. It is fantastic for the core Tyria masteries, especially if you get all your experience boosters fired up.
