This request is for being able to see and access your own crafting materials stored in the bank vault, while out and about in the world.

The idea would be that as you open up your bags you also have a tab for viewing your crafting materials. Reasoning behind this is that if I can deposit materials into the vault from anywhere it makes good sense that I can open this vault and view the crafting material contents.

See maybe, but access? That’s why they put the Permanent bank access in the Black Lion chests. It’s one of the things in the chests that have real value that helps sell keys. Free access to the collections section would wipe out half the value of this item.

I’m okay with the idea, since OP just wants to be able to see what’s in the bank. I think that 90% of the value of the Permanent Bank Access gizmo is in being able to move stuff in|out of the bank; content-viewing is just along for the ride.

I’m in favour of content viewing. You can kinda use the crafting window for mats applicable to your craft/recipes, but full visibility would be useful

Well, the OP does state ‘be able to see and access…’, so viewing might be acceptable, but probably not access.

Well. I have two things to say about that:

• Apparently I can’t read (or I can’t comprehend what I do read) and
• No, no way to the original request — OP wants access to the bank, they can already have it through Bank Access Express (gem shop) or the Perma Bank (TP).

for viewing, that’s what gw2efficency + a second monitor is for…

You can .. in a sort of way .. already see what you own in the crafting materials storage.
If you have some crafting profession fully trained , you can use the crafting profession tab in the hero panel and browse the various recipes you own … this way you can see how many ecto you have .. or how many Mithril ore .. etc … by viewing the corresponding recipe.

yes you can already see but asking for access is too much .. numerous items in the game will lost value or become obsolete if you can directly access your stuff via the hero panel ( permanent contracts or other consumables )

BTW , gw2efficency to view your stuff is probably the best method

If you only need viewing then gw2efficiency is a tool for you.
