You used to be able to go around the world on each character and farm some extra Orchids.

After the latest patch you can only do them on one character, and the orchids no longer spawn on extra characters that go to those spots.

Is this intended?

Someone posted a similar statement about changes to the orchids on the wiki. Intended or not, at least you’re not alone .

Ah, I see. I am also having the issue with the Melandru temple ones as well.

They show as choppable, but you can’t harvest them – and if i go back on another toon they are gone.

I’m having the same issue with the triple nodes at Melandru’s temple. The ones in Dry Top and Mount Maelstrom work fine, no matter on which character I farm them. But at the temple of Melandru I can only farm 1, sometimes 2. It doesn’t matter whether I’ve already farmed Draconis Mons or first go to the temple, so it seems unrelated to the account cap for LS3 map resources.

4 days in a row I farmed the melandru temple orchids and it only let me gather from 1 of them. Each time I started on the southernmost orchid, the right one when coming up the ramp. Next day I chose to gather the middle one first, then it worked fine (I forget which one I grabbed 2nd). Anyone else notice a similar pattern?

Oddly enough I could farm them all today.
