Twice now, I’ve missed the Gerrvid JP reward, because I’ve been busy getting levers.
People kill the boss before I can get back.
Why does ArenaNet do this?
Sorry about your experience, but a quicker way of getting back is to simply suicide into the pit and accept the respawn, which puts you back at the door to the second room. You can then run back into the first room, and since the boss spawns at the back of the first room, you’ll be right where he is.
