[For fun] Specialization predictions
I love all projectile-blocking skills coming up, but I’d like ele to be able to give allies passive buffs like Ranger’s Spotter trait. Actually I’d love if it was some sort of bard.
Thief: Rogue. Sword offhand. Very mobile and dps.
I’d like to see that.

Warrior – they’ll probs get some elementalist skills. A minion of some form would be the first and most obvious possibility for the warrior, since he’s the only profession that has absolutely no minions of any kind.

as opposed to just never using them? reaction is a tad over the top.

Ha, right?! I’m kind of sold on the thief = snipe concept that’s been floating around. We already have some mid range redundancy on the thief so getting some viable long range would be fun. Plus we all just like rifles and they are under utilized. Makes no sense not to add them to someone’s rep.

Let’s see…
Warrior – Firebrand
- Torch – Deals fire and crippled and cauterizes conditions.
- Cantrip – Both defensive and offensive skills, all with fiery side-effects.
Revenant – Ritualist
- Scepter – Attacks with different effects based on range.
- Spirits : Legendary Stance : Master Togo. Both offensive and passive spirits.
Ranger – Druid
- Staff – Control and support focus.
- Consecrations – Plant and nature themes instead fire and light.
Engineer – Golemancer
- Hammer – Melee focus.
- Minions – Mobile golems.
Thief – Hitman
- Rifle – Long range sniping.
- Gadgets – Concealed weapons inspired by the Hitman game series, things like remotely detonated explosives , a stun gun, fiber wire, etc.
Elementalist – Tempest
- Sword – Hard to avoid melee attacks, and quite some PBAoE.
- Physical – The kind of stuff that would go well with AC/DC’s thunderstruck playing in the background.
That sounds about right…
