There is any chance for the double skin for became usefull or swtchable with other stuff?

Probably not, since Fractal skins are part of the farming/grinding reward scheme Fractals were introduced to satiate a player segment who complained about a lack of long term rewards.

I was wondering the same but will keep my fractal chest with fractal axe in it just in case

I think with the new fractals skin coming in the old fractal skins will be purchasable.

Be glad, before FotM rework, we used to loot exotic with no stat and we had to transmut…

Technically it’s still a transmutation. Just a free one.

As for the use of repeat skins – it’s a free transmute. That’s all.
