I’ve been eagerly reading this forum, as I’m unable to play the beta event, and still on the wall about buying the expansion. However, for what it’s worth and from someone who played the vanilla beta and enjoyed Orr before it was nerfed: please don’t drop the difficulty! I can honestly say that throughout the few years that I’ve played this game, no moment has come close to when I first set foot upon the Straights of Devastation. More than in any other MMO, Orr felt to me like an end game zone, a ‘this is it!’ do or die scenario where every move and foray had to be planned, and was fraught with danger. If Maguuma can deliver this same sense of dread, awe and challenge, I shall have no qualms about purchasing Heart of Thorns. Cheers, and have a good beta weekend!
