Guild Wars 2

There are some people talked about the GW2: HoT is GW2: Core. Is it true?
But there is no comment from Forum Moderator of ArenaNet.
If this is true, it make more sense to me about the reasons why the purchase website of GW2: Core is disappeared and why ArenaNet want to give new player the GW2: Core for free.
But the ArenaNet announced Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is expansion includes Guild Wars 2 core game.
Is it possible to release some information about this?

Yes, it’s true. The core game has been discontinued as far as Anet is concerned, although you can still buy it from third party retailers while stocks last.

From now on, the main version of the game is GW2+HoT and this is what newcomers can buy.

HoT might just be Gw2 with googly eyes put on top and sold for 350gems?
