Hi you gliding fans,
Question – what is your longest glide time
Question – where from ?
Can you beat 5min 6 sec

Do you mean with or without using updrafts? I could probably stay up for hours in Bloodstone Fen. Or, even more easily, hop into the ley loop in Bitterfrost and afk forever.

I’d say the place (without updrafts) that would afford the longest glide would be Heart of the Volcano (instance) since you can free-fall there for over a minute.

Well as to that, you can’t glide down in that instance. You inexorably rise. So it’s another easy afk long glide if you position yourself under a rock ledge that doesn’t turn off the glider.

Come to think of it, is the OP asking for a sustained glide without ever tapping off the glider to, say, duck under something that would un-glide you if you land atop it?

Ahh, it’s been awhile. You are correct.

hello everybody thanks for input, yes you are right i did not put enough parmeters, I was thinking of a free glide no updrafts or assists.]

I managed my glide by a little cheating
in the Guild hall using cloud decorations , built a stairway ( to heaven), many hundreds , which took me or anyone that had 10 min to climb, to the highest point possible . from this point you can glide and glide and glide through clouds landscape its quite a view.
