I just bought the heroic edtion and got all of my goods except gems, which mail said 72hrs. So the mini pet is account bound, but what about the glider? How does it work? It says its consumable, does that mean its a one time use? Can I only have it for 1 character? Sorry for all the questions, I tried to look them up but could not find any answers!

I believe it’ll be a new section added to the wardrobe alongside your outfits, dyes, minipets, etc where we’ll be able to pick between glider skins (and I don’t doubt that we’ll see more appear either as ingame rewards or more likely gem store items).

I’m hoping for a straight answer on this too. I would assume it is account bound and just hasn’t been implemented yet. If they plan to sell other skins (which I can certainly see them doing) then a spot in the wardrobe makes sense.

In my case, I used it right away thinking it would surely be account bound. I got a little worried in the first and second BWEs because although they created a copy of my account for Beta use, I did not have the special glider skin. Nobody did as far as I could tell though.

I have mine in my inventory have not used it as of yet. I wanted to make sure before I used it that it was not a 1 time consumable. Untill I find out all the info I will not use it. Anyone have this on Live servers and know the answers? Thanks in advance!

I had mine in the bank before they copied my account for the 1st beta weekend. I had made a tempest at the time and remembered that I had it in my bank, went ahead and used it and it seems that since the gilder tab isn’t implemented yet in the Hero menu (Hopefully that’s how it will be after HoT launches), the skin got unlocked only for that char.

I went and checked my other beta chars but the skin was nowhere to be found. The skin is also still in the bank right now.

VRTheChamp describes my experience. I didn’t consume it originally because I was concerned about where it would go (though devs have said, iirc, that it will be in the Hero Panel once HoT launches and we have glider tabs). So it was in my bank for beta and I used it on my Reaper, at which point it was gone but she had the skin active each time she deployed her glider, both in HoTBWE1 where she consumed it and still working in HoTBWE2.

I’m sure it will be something like the Finishers/Mail Carriers tabs, or maybe a Glider box will show up near the Backpiece box so you can click that while in Wardrobe and pick options from the left side. I hope it’ll be like Finishers, though, as the skins will sort better and can more easily offer a preview with a gliding animation.
