It’s frustrating to only have one chance per hour at some very difficult flights. I therefore suggest;

Make a gem store glider launcher. This could take one of three forms off the top of my head, ( four really but I’m not sure the fourth is really appropriate.) These could be allowed to be used only at the specific launch points already used by the Pact choppers.

Alternatively, make it possible to get into the canopy, perhaps by ley line gliding.

Quaggan Balloon. A Quaggan aviator picks you up for a leisurely ascent. This would be not unlike launching SpaceShip 1.

Hyperlaunch Jumping Mushroom. Blasts you straight into the canopy.

Trebuchet Glider Launcher.

Personal Helicopter Call Device. An Asuran innovation that launches a flare, calling for a special airlift.

One more suggestion;

We need droppable munitions. I can envision defending a rally point from the air, as a close support bomber.
