Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section, but does anyone know if gliders will be able to be used in sPvP matches?

And if not, do you think they should allow us to?

The maguuma masteries only function in the expansion areas.

No, I don’t think they should allow us to because it makes those with HoT more powerful than those without. It also makes those with more time invested (to get mastery points and experience) stronger than those with less time invested.

Not as of yet. If they were, imagine what would happen in Skyhammer. You could fall off the fighting area, but glide and survive only to be stuck down below until a monster kills you.

They might eventually make a map where you can use them, but it would have to be on that map only, with everyone at the same level of gliding skill for that map.

Sarcasm, delivered with a
delicate, brick-like subtlety.

So we can’t use the gliders in vanilla maps? That’s disappointing

The vanilla maps weren’t designed with flying in mind. People might be able to fly over the barrier walls in some places. The top of places that are currently inaccessible and have invisible walls around them because they are unfinished can be accessible. Some jumping puzzles can be bypassed by everyone with gliding. Just go to a nearby high spot and glide in.
