Guild Wars 2

So I noticed a Charr today rolling around with the new glider skin you get for purchasing HoT a month ago. However, there’s no toggleable way to get it unless you had it in your bank prior. Is there going to be a tab for switching the skin later? Or did those of us who used it when we bought it (before beta) get screwed over and can’t use the skin? Because I roll around in the old, newbie skin.

Just a curious thought, really. I found zero info ingame so far as to if this is a thing or not. Just “have it in your bank” and that guy was able to roll with it.

No idea, I unlocked the skin before beta by clicking it and yet to find a way to switch the skin.

Same here. Yet people who kept it in their banks are rolling around with it. Im kinda jealous…

It’s exactly the same as your wardrobe, when you buy a skin, and use it on your armor, it changes. However if you want to use that skin again, you need to use the wardrobe.

Seems like this is the same way, only it’s not added to the wardrobe yet.

Think that was the point Fox, i.e. that it is not added to the wardrobe yet so those of us who unlocked it into there cannot use it.

Yeah and some of us had 50 transmutation charges before the weekend began, while others had none. It’s looks, it’s beta, who cares.

Well no one cares about your transmutation charges as that is not what the post is about :P

My only issue with this glider skin, is that the green glow seems way too far out and too large, so large in fact that it becomes distracting and obstructive.
Rather than having two massive glowing green balls of plant goop on each wing, I’d rather it were two smaller wind streamlines and closer in to the wings themselves.
