Now that we get wings to “fly”, are you considering of giving a buff to black wings, white wings, etc wings, to play that role ingame? I mean if I use a gemstore pair of wings as a back, will be able to use these wings instead the default ones?

Backpacks and gliders are two separate things.

Glider skins, however, are a thing.

It’s possible that there can be a glider skin that looks like wings.

They will undoubtably be selling gem store glider skins or have skins available as ingame rewards. It’s always possible they will make a couple of the skins as those wings.

Your backpiece disappears when the glider comes out, and vice versa. You don’t have both at once.

so I could buy a similar skin for gliding (black wings + black wings gliding skin) and it will look like… perfect

Or they could simply buff the wings with a gemstore token or something. I remember in the beta, that gliding feathers pop-out even if we jump small heights, NO need to jump from a huge mountain, I consider some animation glitch(??), but if they make it look nice, why not.

I have a feeling that if they make glider skin wings to match the wings people already bought, they’ll sorta have to grandfather in the costume wings or get a ton of complaints about having to buy the “same” wings twice, give me my money back you meanies.

Which is a point. They may never make the either of the wings into a glider skin for that very reason.

I’m still hoping for a glider skin that looks like my Tempered Spinal Blades. Why would an Asura use some basic cloth/paper/whatever glider over a jetpack-like glider?

I would throw gems at them a lot, if they added this skin – and know many others who would. keeping fingers crossed
