It’s similar but it doesn’t match perfectly, and even though there’s nothing that’s even remotely close to matching, it has to be <insert random other lore item here>!

Not really. There are distinct similarities between the symbols, and that is part of the evidence towards them being mursaat, but as far as I have yet to be able to find the exact symbol on the door is not one we’ve seen before. There are other symbols in both games that have similar design elements (the Kurzicks, the Flame Legion) – while I’m obviously not suggesting either of those, it does show that similarities are not definite proof.

Suggestive, certainly, but not yet conclusive.

Nope. Partly because, to be clear, putting everything together I think the ‘balance of probabilities’ standard of evidence favours the mursaat hypothesis. However, there is certainly reasonable doubt.

Partly because, and I don’t mean any offense by this, I’m simply stating a fact, I don’t feel I know you well enough to trust that you will cover your bet if that does turn out to be the outcome.
