Ok this is getting old real fast. Waiting for a match in HoM is near guaranteed to net you a pink wall of offers you never asked for from gold sellers.

So here’s the deal: Give us a menu option to block whispers from anyone who is not on our buddy list. Just one little line in option’s menu with a small checkbox to tick. That’ all i ask. Least in this post;)

Gold sellers in GW2 are dead …….Anet track the e-mails and ban people when they see they received a big amount of gold.

Have no idea how is possible you received these messages ><

I have gotten two whispers in last 3 weeks. Still happens but not as often

It’s almost always now the same gold seller spamming a message to you. Block and report and it stops.

(Block however, should automatically remove the messages from your chat window).

Well when i was in HoT today it was a wall of pink offers. Maybe same bot but annoying as hell. I did report it, will remember to block it next time too.

Kinda like ABP for MMO’s, I like the idea

That’s curious indeed, I haven’t seen gold sellers in the game for a long time now. Maybe it’s just one or two making their appearance atm, just report and block them, Anet will deal with them soon.

Have you been faithfully /blocking and /reporting? Those who do seem to agree: they don’t get many (if any) such whispers.

Regardless of gold sellers, there are a decent fraction of players who would welcome this option (although, I think you’d have to also allow whispers from members of the guild currently represented).
