So this is a rant
…got a precursor during this weekends Beta ….“The Legend”
been playing GW2 since day dot…no precursor ever dropped for me …now…during Beta i get one…that I cannot use as doesn’t count for anything…cannot store it or sell it… Totally worth less

I feel violated Anet ….
But the HoT is awesome

And you’ll never get one again!
(seriously my deepest sympathy)

I opened beta equipment boxes until I had a full inventory specificly to avoid this horrorific situation – I would be very upset if it happened to me, bad luck (or I guess good luck but bad timing).

Once again OP, how did you obtained the precursor?
If it is a dircect drop or champ bag drop, you have my deepest sympathy.

If it is from the forge…..

This was pretty much my greatest fear this weekend. I still hope I don’t get a random one, or else I’ll flip tables so hard, there shall not be a table unflipped in the world.

Ok first of all I need to preface this by saying that if you got it from the forge then well… I hate to break it to you but the odds of getting one out of the forge are significantly increased in beta’s, (Just a little troll from the dev’s)

But if you got one as a random drop/world boss… kitten that really sucks… Huge condolences

Well beta is for testing and NOT for making a profit off drops! The last beta event Anet inflated the precurser drop rate from the Mystic Toilet becuase of several threads asking Anet to prevent precurser from dropping in upcoming beta.
