Seriously, did they run out of ideas before the skill bar was completed? Was this just tossed in when somebody couldn’t come up with something better?

This skill only pulls normal enemies, not larger creatures. I’ve yet to see a champion monster get pulled by this. Static monsters like tendrils and wurms aren’t going anywhere.

All this does is move a heavily armored tank into the backline, out of melee range. It breaks the flow of a fight and any combo fields laid down are wasted.

At most this puts the Rev inches from a fall off a ledge, away from an important event.

If this was thrown in for pvp, can’t it be split from it’s pve version?

Please come up with something besides this.

It interrupts, and hurts break bars. If you’re running Shiro you can instantly skill 8 back into the fight, also gaining unblockable. It separates the target from the group so you can skill 3 without diluting the damage across multiple mobs.

It has plenty of uses.

I assume you’re referring to skill 9, 8 is another backwards evasion. And, Phase Traversal can be used stand alone, without the need for Grasping Shadows.

I’ve yet to see this skill interrupt anything. If I wanted to interrupt something, I’d use Jade Winds, without the sudden movement.

I have evasion as 7, dash forward as 8 and the upkeep as 9. I interrupt things all the time with it, so this means you’re just not skilled with it. It’s simple, if you don’t value the weapon, don’t use it.

I cannot understand the value of using up 2 skills to pull some mob trash, when the same result can be had with 1.

Not like there are many choices. Staff can’t be used in the off hand, and shield you have to unlock.

As a guardian I regularly pull multiple monsters To me, this on the other hand, seems half thought out. A heavy shouldn’t be pulling normal monsters out of the mob. He should be tanking the mob.

Any monster with a break bar can’t be pulled any way, correct? So whats the point? Unless Jade Winds doesn’t hurt the break bar.

Another thought occurs to me: since the Rev has no useful crowd control that would work on a champion monster (can’t be knocked back, pulled, launched) why would you be trying to mess with it’s break bar by teleporting Away from it?

OK I understand maybe to escape it’s counter attack, but pull it? It’s immune to pull in the first place, therefore, useless. To get out of it’s range you could just dodge or move away.

It’s going to do something Bad anyway no matter if it’s bar is full or depleted. Seems to me a soft control like cripple would be most appropriate, since you want to get away from it’s break bar attack. Heck even immobilize would do the job.
