Seriously, it’s the one thing lacking for Warriors. HoT isn’t catching my breath a lot, though the bow Guardian is somewhat attractive, but I am a Warrior at heart, I don’t want to change my class. My favourite weapons are polearms and greataxes, and I’m feeling the lack of both. And no… Not underwater either, I’m not playing Bioshock, here. I mean sure we have it, but it’s limited to only like 15% of the game, it’s pretty lame.

If A-Net pulls this off, go way off and give us a greataxe, well, I can only speak for myself, but you’re getting a player signed back in to your game, and I mean it!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that, though. Come on, we don’t want wimpy pistols or daggers, we want a Warrior’s weapon. Give ’em the Axe! The Great one, at that!

They said no new weapons.

As for polearms, from the look of things, they will be incorporated to the existing staff, as revenant is going to use staves for melee combat.

They probably will add a new weapon in the x-pac after HoT
