Guild Wars 2

Most of us are already excited with the confirmation of guild halls but I would really like the possibility to create actual Guild Alliance with proper in-game tool rather than the actual alliance that are created “outside” the game. This would be a great opportunity to help smaller guild who don’t want to merge (or invite ppl that just want commendation) to complete guild mission. Would also help to find ppl in PvP and for WvW it would be let’s say more interesting so a huge group could carry the same Alliance tag like : [Insert Server Name] Great Alliance or Community. I also think alliance would have a bigger meaning in GW2 that it has been in GW1 if we consider the WvW aspect. I wanted to have yours opinion if you think Guild Alliance should be something add to the game with HoT with the confirmation of Guild Halls.

At one time, I made a suggestion about Alliances as a management system for condensing servers but keeping communities in tact. I had suggested the alliance had perks and forms of communication.

Unfortunately, I don’t see much chance of this happening as I don’t think there will be any server merging, more then likely the HOT expansion will bring new people here or vets back and WvW mergers will be unnecessary.
