I had some ideas for Guild Halls that are based off of the 6 gods. Such as:

Dwayna’s Guild Hall would be a green island in the middle of a blue lake with a healing ambiance and relaxing atmosphere. A bright aura in the air.

Grenth’s Guild Hall would be a Necrotic/Ice fortress that has a river of death outside and flowing down the middle with minions all around. Maybe even have areas for the Reapers.

Balthazar’s Guild Hall would be fiery and like a large Forge/Armorsmith/Weaponsmith area with flames and weapons scattered around with corpses and arenas.

Lyssa’s Guild Hall would be like Watery Pillars holding buildings made of water up with beautiful statues of Lyssa and her Illusions with Purple sheens all around.

Kormir’s Guild Hall would be a rock outcropping made of white Marble with Vaults of Truth and Knowledge guarded by Books and libraries all around.

Melandru’s Guild Hall would be a Forest with an open area with Stones jutting out of the ground of all different shapes and sizes with designs and cool scripted nature like scrollwork.

All of these have have their prospective ambiances and relative small things to make them Unique to their god’s. I just wanted there to be room for improvement and more ideas.

Long term, very cool. Short term, very humanocentric. They’d need balancing with halls dedicated to various aspects of each race.

Though I would not mind at all getting a very humanocentric Caudecus Manor style estate as a guild hall. It just needs a ballroom to be complete.

Well you could base other guild halls as like a flame legion Titan guild hall, or an asuran eternal Alchemy guild hall, or a sons of Svanir guild hall, Each of the Norn Spirits as a Guild Hall, a Sylvari Pale Tree guild hall, or something like that that is spread out across races. But Humans are a pretty large portion of the population as they were in GW1 so it isn’t too far fetched.

There’s 5 places that MUST eventually have Guild Hall versions.

These places are:

  • The City of Arah. As a guild hall, it will be restored over time as the guild levels up. To take over it players must fight powerful new and updated versions of risen creatures, with new skills and abilities, like Abominations and Risen Knights getting defiance bars.
  • The Ascalonian Catacombs. The guild version features a few larger caverns. but still low ceilings. Players must fight hordes of ghosts to take over it.
  • Caudecus’s Manor. As a guild hall, it gets expanded with tunnels dug in the rock and larger halls. To take over it, players must defeat Bandit, White Mantle and Mursaat forces.
  • The Hidden City of Ahdashim. Introduced along an expansion taking player to Elona. Now dark and empty of treasure, the shine and the piles of treasure return and increase in size as the guild levels up. NPC in it are replaced by djinns versions.
  • The Shing Jea Sanctuary. As the guild levels up it returns to its previous glory. It features vast open spaces and lots of grassy plains and hills.

Or they could do something that would include the mass of casual players without guild halls because it’s not realistic to expect they will ever get one by now, with the current requirements and we kind of want/need as many players as we can get to keep the game rolling along.
Not saying the biggest best, but something that includes them. Many have never seen a guild hall… by choice because of the current requirements.

I love the Arah guild hall idea. Would be great to see it returned at least somewhat to its former glory.

I’d even settle for somekind of Fractal with the city in the background and only a small part of it explorable.

Not sure about the other areas as I’m not a huge gw2 lore nerd.

I think if we do go to Cantha at some point we’re pretty much guaranteed to get a Cantha-themed guild hall.

At this point I just hope they keep adding things to the guild halls and making them more interactive. Give them a wider variety of affordable decorations and expand on what’s already existing to get it where they think they could mimic it in other areas.

Right now they’re just large pretty but empty zones that you can spend a fortune decorating and upgrading with not much use otherwise.

Would also be nice to get a new building or upgrade that allows a bank/trading post. The bank we already have with the scribing station so the only thing we would be missing would be the trading post which would be a highly welcomed thing considering how much stuff you have to buy and trade for the upgrades.

Really interested in seeing what they have planned with this Crystal too. If I remember right they hinted at the crystal being a pretty significant thing in the future they didn’t want to spoil.

Oh, and a Rata Novus/Asura themed guild hall would be great as well.
