Guild Hall Services Wishlist
I feel like the Guild Hall won’t be a conventional one-stop-shop. I think we’ll see a bank and maybe a TP, but other than that I doubt we’ll get typical merchant services. They have to consider their sales of the airship pass and terrace pass, as well as decimating the populations of those who visit city hubs.
If we do get things like you suggest, such as portals to activities, HoM, and various game modes the guild hall will feel like a more unique and meaningful place than it would if we just got a reskinned Royal Terrace.

Well for crafting you don’t need to go to the cities either, you can go to your home wvw bl, so I think those could get added along with TP/bank access.
Could be interesting if we get starasura gates to the cities/borderlands/mists.
Please give us a keyring…
I’d rather see some sort of Guild Skirmish area (like GvG in GW1) that you can invite other Guilds to for a match or 2.
60% of the things listed are not something that a Guild Hall needs as they are readily available elsewhere (and I doubt Anet wants Guild Halls to de-populate those areas).

There was a guild hall CDI. You should check out the thread. You will glean some interesting insight into which ways the devs and players were leaning in regard to how features would be implemented. I don’t think the BLTC will be a part of it though because they want players to have reasons to populate the NPC cities. I would imagine repair stations and merchants and crating vendors would bethere. Also, I see no reason as to why we wouldn’t get a guild comm vendor as the existing one is tucked away in a corner of LA. I think quite a few services will be available and so much more. I honestly think we will get direct access to dungeons from guild halls among other activities that haven’t been announced yet.
Spoon Case- allows you to sell your spoons (carved, fractal, WvW). The case will keep up with the number sold and will tell how many it contains. Basicly a vanity item that also buys spoons. It could even give more coins after it hits certain milestones (EX at 1000 carved bone spoons it could give 20 silver per CBS instead of the usual 10)

I want to have access to our home instance through a building in the GH. Kind of a home-away-from-home instance.
@Brother Grimm Guild Halls naturally de-populate areas just by existing. In GW1, so many people would just sit in the GH and socialize or AFK. Some people even did more of that than actually playing the game. And the GH is a favorite place to hold events. So I’d say it would make sense to add stuff like crafting stations and such. If GH socializers take up crafting, then they’ll have to leave to get more materials lol.

Anet has all the information they need and are likely to use from the CDI they had a few months ago. Hopefully if you had/have unique ideas you presented them there when they called out to the community. Here is a link to that thread, it is quite good and everything covered in this thread so far I’ve seen referenced there (and a LOT more).
Enjoy

We already have that function…

That isn’t the same thing at all. That’s a gem store item that allows you to access the home instance from anywhere in game, which is not what I suggested.

From a business standpoint, adding the ability to warp home from a Guild Hall doesn’t make sense.
One thing Ive wanted for a REALLY long time is the ability to host and play minigames (sanctum sprint, kegbrawl, etc) with my guildmates.
I know they said during Wintersday that there are restrictions on how people enter minigames because they are tied to the servers or system powering pvp, but it seems like an expansion/introducing guild halls would be the perfect time to fix those limitations.

I would love this aswell , I’m alright if they don’t give rewards or advance the achevis I just want to do them with guildmates , mini-games offer something that we can have fun with people we know.
Guild Living Story Orator – Recreates previous temporary content for play through (instanced, limited to 5 guild members at a time, instance closes when all players leave like dungeons, previous events scaled down to be done by 5 people.)
Also allows for individuals to purchase Season 2 content directly from them as opposed to through their Hero menu.
Interactive Environment – If there is a seat, i should sit in it like a civilized person. Add some sort of contextual interact function for furniture and the like.
Guild farms or mines?
Imagine using guild influence to directly determine a set number of harvesting nodes, with a specific amount of upkeep.
You could even extend farms to livestock, creating a way to get resources passively over time that you would otherwise only get from farming mobs, basically a harvesting node that gives scales, claws, etc.
