That isn’t very appealing concept art (at least to me). Might be the shade of green they chose…

Still hyped about guild halls though….

That art doesn’t appeal to me either..
Hopefully we can choose a GH without that particular shade of green all over the place.

In the twitter comments one guy said he had a sudden urge to go make sculpture out of old circuit boards.

I’m hoping we get a variety of architectural style choices. That concept art looks like something we’d get from the Golden City deep in Maguuma. While my guild could RP a reason to move into something like that — maybe setting up a forward base for treasure hunting expeditions? — it’s not quite how we would choose to set things up for our guild theme.

Is this a casino? Looks similiar to a casino! What it might mean? More RNG boxes?!

With gw1 style guild hall preview/exploration before choosing would be nice.

I can’t shake the feeling that it’s not only paid for, but also intentionally bad. That, for some unfathomable reason, this kind of style appeals to someone in Anet. Perhaps they are deluded in thinking it is something that can replace Kekai Kotaki’s work.

i think they were going for more for daniel dociu, heck maybe it was his work, but just not a very good attempt.

Interesting. While it seems mostly asuran in concept I can see influences from the other 3 races as well. Think divinity’s reach, the black citadel, and a touch of the immensity of norn stuff. I just wish we had some better drawings to go on but hopefully it will be in tomorrow night’s patch.

It could just be that this particular image evokes the guild hall the GW2 poster most likes in actual implementation?

This reminds me of my Grandma’s house from the 70s ugly green shag carpet green furniture dark brown paneling and picture in gold frames. I’m thinking this is not an actual pic of a guild hall but the loading screen to zone into the guild halls, still it’s ugly.

They already have shown more than one choice in Guild Halls…just go back to the HoT PAXSouth announcement.

I was looking at the one with the curved flat pathway. It reminded me of how the citadel is layed out … and orr.
