Guild Wars 2

I hope I was wrong in what I was reading as I read it a bit quickly but it looks like in order to create a guild hall you need to run guild missions to get needed items. So what happens to the smaller guilds that only have 5 or 6 members? Guild missions are tough for us to complete. Are we just hosed now?

I think you’ll find newer missions are easier for you guys to complete, like PvP missions, but I’m aware you might not want to do that. Either way, you do get to have your guild hall, it’s just going to be much harder for you to progress it.

In the live streams they mentioned that they balanced the guild hall system for guild with at least 5 member, so you’ll be fine.

Arenanet’s definition of a guild as said by Colin during the stream, officially, is “groups of five or more people”

less than that “Isn’t even a group” and they aren’t designing guild systems around that, but encourage you to team up with/bribe others if you want to play the guild system in unintended ways, as they will not attempt to prevent you from doing so.

Do whatever you like with that information, or check the guild week player Q&A stream to hear directly what Colin had to say on the subject.

That said, I’d be happy to get some of my guys to team up with your guild and help you accomplish whatever it is you are after to get your hall. no bribery required

Pretty sure that Anet intended for raids to be the hard content and not GH claiming :P Shouldn’t give you too much trouble I guess.
