With the implementation of Guild Halls and locking PvP content (Guild Arenas) behind said Guild Halls Arena.net once again shows contempt towards PvP players. Smirks

Arena.net was founded on the idea of playing how you wanted to and my PvP only guild has been testament to that since launch. Half of us never step foot outside of the Mists. We just PvP. Now with Guild Halls we are being forced to PvE. I feel lied to, betrayed… this is not the… stifles laugh… this is not the Arena.net I grew up with.

I’m afraid my 170 strong PvP-only guild may just quit over this and some of us buy costumes in the Gem store. It has been just over a week and my guild has barely begun working on the Guild Mine… Smirk I thought this was Guild Wars not Grind Wars!

I just want a place outside of the Mists lobby for my Guildies to hang out! Be seeing you.

I think there is a few stuff they can’t get… Like shovels for example… Not sure though.

Correct – upgrades are constrained by Aetherium capacity, and if you can’t upgrade your mines, you may not be able to obtain much in the fashion of guild hall upgrades.

Bolded emote grandstanding aside and claiming people will quit a game they played for years because a new toy is not available to them via one gameplay mode only, a new PVP track may need to be introduced for such resources to be obtained via PVP. On the other hand, I don’t see the problem with running PVE content if you want in on all the GW2 content – even crafting Legendaries or certain items requires making gameplay concessions: getting in on WvW, or to spend a nominal amount of time trying out the Fractals of the Mists.

What’s with all the random ‘twitching’ in the first two posts? It’s making it hard to read.

Ah, well, there are people who would actually be serious about this. Again I dont spvp so without any context, someone wouldnt know about what spvp tracks and what they give. i just looked at the tracks after I posted.

Don’t worry, turns out at least one component is not only not accessible through any PvP track. It’s not in the game at all
