Guild Wars 2

So, first of all, to any devs, if you’re actually catching this thread (which, sadly, will probably sink below all the negative threads very quickly as often happens), then props to you for being brave enough to dive into the angst that is video game forums.

I just wanted to send out a big thank you to everyone on ANet who worked to make Guild Halls a reality. I was one of the people who would bump every thread I saw on Guild Halls and I definitely wasn’t alone since there was almost always at least one thread up mentioning guild halls (well, at least for the first year or two before a lot of people probably just gave up on it).

Not only are we getting guild halls, but they look to be very feature rich. Not only did your team deliver on creating guild halls, but you knocked it out of the park.

While we don’t get everything we want, it’s definitely clear that you do listen to the community and make your best effort to respond. It may be hard to see since so many of us forum-goers tend to only write about what needs to be changed or what we don’t have, but…we appreciate when you do stuff like this. Thanks.

During the chat yesterday while POI interest there was certainly a pickup of the ‘take my money’ attitude beyond what we have seen lately. I still would like to see the address the misstep but at least now I am more sure about getting my money’s worth.

But snark aside, I second that notion. Guild Halls seem to be a kitten feature and I can’t wait to see them in person. I just hope guild of five will be able to claim theirs, just as a guild of fifty or two hundred can. After all, the upgrade mentions it’s trying to balance small and large guilds, so here goes hoping x)

You are correct. I am a bit upset though. After shelling out the money for Ultimate, I was not selected for a face stinging, tooth popping slap in the face! Instead all I received was great value! Why have you chosen to nice to me and not the others that have yet to take part in this incredible expansion, why Arena Net?

I am certain my larger guilds can pull it off although hopefully the halls will be cross-server so they do not need to win a hall on every NA server one at a time. I am not sure about the one I am in with a few friends. My personal one is probably a no-go.
