I just personally hope, we will see in the future more claimable Guild hall Designs, as none of thosde both that we have nw does look at all for me like something I would ever want as a “Guild Hall” upon which I would build up a kind of Guild Headquarter..
Gilded Hollow is nothing but a total boring huge place full of gold all around you that is a place, that only the tasteless people would claim. This design has absolutely no appeal and looks only like a cheap Tarir 2.0 but underground..
Lost Prencipise on the other hand is just a hug rocky place with lots of heights to glide from down, but is at least compared to gilded Hallow alot more interestign looking ,as its as lost shrine ruin that comes with its own mystic unique look.
but still not a place, that I’d choose to turn it into some kind of headquarter for a guild.. it looks more like a place that would work as a hideout for bandits or so …
What i want to say with al this is simple..
I hope that we wil lsee in the future also some Guild Hall Maps, which actually do have designs, that give you the feeling at beign a place, which truly looks like a immersive place that a Guild would choose to turn it into their headquarter.
GW2 for example had ISLANDS with lots of different designs.
I’d live to see next as a Guild Hall option a claimable ISLAND that can be of different environ, mental type (Tropical Island, Snowy Island, Forest Island, Desert Island)
I think there are enough free spaces on the world map with unexplorable islands so far, which can be turned into new Guild Hall Options.
But also Town Design Guild Halls would be nice for the future, where your Guild Hall for example is a part of Lions Arch, Divinity Reach, the Black Citadel, Rata Sum ect. pp and shares some kind of designs from these maps, for peopel which like more the kind of civilizated looking guild halls that look like being integrated parts of the towns, while Lost Precipise/Gilde Hallow are the HoT only more exotic looking options.
Also Guild Hall maps should become also normal explorable maps, where if you explore them solo, you should explore them as some kind of Solo Hunting Grounds where you are there in a map state, that is before your guild claimed and liberated the place from enemies, so that these maps are more than njust only wasted map space for guilds that could also have been rather used for new explorable maps for everyone!!!
Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside
