Greetings and salutations,

I have a humble request.. would it be possible to have a tiny guild hall for the smaller guilds in Tyria? Nothing fancy .. something like Dead End Inn in Divinity’s Reach for all the 5-man guilds and soon to be 10-man raid guilds? The current two guild halls are… excessive. Me and my little family don’t have delusions of grandeur on that scale.

you can use Guild Initiative Office. It was meant for such use of small guild.

Except you can’t use the teleport to guild hall ability in the guild pane with the Guild Initiative Office and thus no one will go there.

I agree, as a member and leader of a small guild myself, it would be cool to see much smaller scale guild halls for smaller guilds. My 3-man guild currently has Gilded Hollow, and couldn’t even dream of getting all the upgrades, let alone exploring the whole place. Something more on the scale of the GW1 guild halls would be much more suitable I think for small-mid size guilds.

I think the idea of having a physically smaller place that is significantly cheaper is a good alternative as it doesnt really diminish what others will have.

Well since your only 1 or 2 groups go to heart of the mist you can teleport from anywere and its free to use now and forever.

Pay people to temporarily join your guild get enough to cap the guildhall, and, pay them off and kick them out if you want to keep it a small guild.

You’re not very familiar with what happens AFTER you get the guild hall, are you?

Getting the hall is actually the easy part. Getting it up and operational, much less decorated, is a HUGE task in comparison. For a small group, it’s downright insane to think they’ll ever get there.

I like the idea of a mini Guild Hall. It gives a smaller goal that’s more reasonable for a small group, so they’re not reduced to either becoming lost within a big guild, or having no goals to chase at all.
