Guild Wars 2

The one thing that made my BWE experience problematic for me was the inability to chat with my guildies during the event.

I can understand not wanting guild representation from beta characters affecting guild progress, but is their any way that beta characters can be made to represent and just gain guild chat functionality in the upcoming BWEs?

Being able to use guild chat on our beta characters would be awesome!

Actually they had a second reason for disabling guild functions, that being they didn’t want people using their personal guild banks to transfer gear from beta characters. It was probably easier for them to disable all guild functions than to pick and choose.

If we had custom chat channels this wouldn’t even be an issue.

At least my guild is small enough that we tend to congregate on Mumble a lot.
