See, I’ve always wanted a guild house.
I wasn’t sure about this but I did a check on the wiki which explains that there will be two different halls that you can get. two.
This doesnt sit well with me because the guild halls would be the main reason I’m buying HoT and it seems to me that limiting the number of actual halls you can get to two is completely stupid.
I want a house in divinity’s reach. there, I’ve said it. I want to be able to edit the rooms, maybe build a third floor or even a basement later on. I dont want to be forced to use a HUGE hall that I probably wont even get access to (because all of this seems extremely unfriendly for small guilds). I won’t say I want something like in warframe, obviously, no spaceship, but gawd this is a fantasy world, why the heck can I still not get my own house, manor, etc.
And thered be different types too, you could get a sylvari tree house, or a charr rolling house maybe? what about an asura floating house! and then a normal and cosy human house.

My second point is the fact that very few information is given in regards to the moddability we’ll have for our guild halls! what is the POINT of having your very own (albeit huge and empty) guild hall if EVERYONE HAS THE EXACT SAME. will there be different versions of rooms? unlockable content ? some rare rooms that you can only get access to if you do some special stuff like complete a very hard jumping puzzle (or whatever), maybe some dungeon styled rooms obtained after completing a dungeon multiple times (maybe a charr volcano room )…

So yeah, as of the moment I’m unsatisfied with what I think will be in the HoT (I say this, cause I mean, its not out yet), to recap I have three issues with it:
-Lack of more varied base guild halls
-Lack of proper and interesting housing system (which is something that I think should have been in game at launch)
-and lack of availability for smaller guilds (I want them to get a discount on ALL guild stuff, prices should vary depending on the size of the guild! its stupid to force people to join bigger guilds don’t! (I’m not sure this isn’t adressed already but i’m pretty sure it isn’t, though if it is, obviously, feel free to tell me) )

It takes time to build a map. It takes even more time I imagine to build a map that players can customize. They already said they plan on introducing more guild halls in the future.

What do you mean very little information? They had a video that showed you what you can do.

As somebody who owns three personal bank guilds I disagree with your notion that everything should be discounted for small guilds. The expectation of having at least 5 people to claim a guild hall and 3 to do guild missions is fair.

A one person guild is not a real guild and a two person guild is basically just a couple, not really a guild either.

This guild hall isn’t like a tiny one room thing. It’s a guild map. It’s quite complex. It’ll take 6-8 months to fully deck it out.

What it’s not is personal housing.

Nate I dont get your point, Im talking about the difference between a 10 man guild and a 500 man guild. Obviously one person or two doesnt make a guild.
Vayne, what im saying in my OP is that I dont want some huge thing that will feel empty most of the time because my guild is only a ten man guild. Thats what im saying. can you imagine yourself in this huge empty map with only 10 people?
Thats why I want smaller versions of the guild hall or more small-guild friendly versions. maybe have rooms of different sizes depending on the size of the guild?
Make it more hous-y and less hall-y when its a ten man guild.
