First of all I would like to thank Anet for the expansion Phenomenal job gratz. I love the new biome got me lost in tangled root sometimes and loved the canopy in verdant brink. Enjoyed the meta events although haven’t been part of tangled root one. Just had little thing but for me it’s a big thing so sorry ^^. The placement of the guild halls they just don’t seem fit the world where they are placed. The gilded hollow in particular it’s on top reed bog plus the huge water mass behind bet top where ventari’s refuge should be just doesn’t fit. Couldn’t the guild halls be places in the mists of a place where they fit the scenery? And free those places for fitting zones or a guild hall made to fit the placement.

I’m not one to completely spoil a game before I buy them but was a bit dissapointed to know the two level 80 maps on the world map were in fact the Guild Halls. Probably on purpose but artificial creating a larger world map by adding in guild halls seems like a ploy. They also don’t fit in with the world as the OP has stated.
So yes Mists would’ve made a bit more sense a guild v guild situation wouldn’t make much sense if two guilds owned the same guild hall. That or trek across VB unless GvG is just an old GW1 fantasy and I’m deluding myself.
There seems to be added in game lore to the guild halls in Tarir. This explains the placement of them. So my prior argument about the placement op top of reed bog and Ventri’s refuge gives room to why they are there. Nice touch Anet thubs up. Though Guilded Hollows could be replaced with something like duid’s isle theme guild hall to fit the scenery of old times.
