Guilds lost buffs since launch early
Anet told us several times over the past few days and weeks to use the 24/48 hour buffs before h.o.t goes live and they wont refund guilds on lost currency for them. So nothing for them to fix as everyone was warned.

No and why would they tell everyone in an in game msg? it was all over the blog post, Dev and QA Embed post on the forums, dulfy, reddit, twitch live streams.
There was plenty of warning to use them before hand and they won’t be carried over once h.o.t goes live.

Should it be? I mean, I understand accessibility is a great thing, but if guild officers/leaders couldn’t be kitten d to check the changes to the guilds, isn’t that ultimately their own fault?
What’s the alternative? Somehow posting pages and pages of changelogs ingame?

Well… yeah? At least an in-game announcement for some thing as important as this. If one just plays the game and is unaware of any changes to guilds, why would one be looking for the changes in the first place?
Not every one is obsessed with Guild Wars 2 like yourselves and has to live and breathe it even after they’re logged out of the game.
