As someone who works in the T-Shirt printing area, you honestly could always have it done. Technically it’s breaking copyrights, but there are so many illegitimate companies in this business (my companies main competition
) it’d be easy to get it done and as long as you’re not selling it no one would ever create an issue from it. Though one offs are much more expensive than large batches, and you’d likely spend double or more for it.
Just saying
If they don’t want to sell it to you, you can get it made. If they do want to sell it, you’d save money, they’d get money, seems like a good idea on their part if they’re able to handle the logistics of it without too much cost.
I don’t know what the HoT shirt looks like but for the big GW2 one you’d probably be looking at sublimation or rolling printing I believe it’s called, standard silk screen won’t get that same result very easily.
