I was wondering how I would be able to gift HOT Ult to my girlfriend I know if you paid for it on the shop site it sends you an email but I also know that it will auto apply the key so does anyone know how I can be able to gift her the key?
An account will only be automatically updated if a Heart of Thorns Serial Key is purchased in-game. Purchasing from the official ArenaNet site will afford you an email, as you stated, with a Serial Key enclosed. You can send that Serial Key to your friend, and she can then register the key, by either upgrading her present account, or creating a new account. Be sure to enclose the purchase details, as well, should she ever need assistance from the CS Team.
