I really pretty unhappy that I have to repeat Verdant Brink. Why am I punished for already having had 100% world completion?

Just got roflstomped by Stavemaster Adryn (again)… it’s soured me on HoT quite a bit.
One shot killing unavoidable bosses like adryn and the axemaster are contributing to my being really kittened with having to go through this, again.

Did I mention I spent 5 hours trying to beat the bugged dragon fight? This really needs to be fixed.

How is repeating it going to help the problem, though?

Apparently the bug is only for people with 100% world completion. I’m repeating it on a toon that hasn’t finished the world.. hoping to get the prize ( which I need in order to make the Mesmer Legendary )

If that doesn’t work, then I’m locked out of ever getting the legendary.

Or, y’know, they’ll fix the bug. Which they’ve stated they are actively working on doing.

But you’re right, you’ll probably be locked out forever.

Hope they do fix it. I’m waiting on finishing all of verdant brink. I really want that mesmer shield. But I don’t want them to not add the achievement in retroactively

Good thing I read this now .. my main .. my Mesmer .. has 100% world completion and I JUST got this game .. I think I will hold off til they fix all the bugs as Stavemaster Adryn has really got me frustrated … and no info on him on the /wiki

they have already stated that they are fixing this bug and you will get all your rewards. Nothing will be missed if you do right now

I can’t imagine that they would leave people effected by this bug permanently. If they fix it and it doesn’t automatically apply retroactively, they pretty much have to do something to make it right, like mailing out boxes to those effected, or ever to everyone if necessary.
