Dear my friends, yesterday midnight me and my friends and girlfriends during a lan-party session have finished the story of Heart of Thorns.
So now I am here to tell you my experiences and feedbacks.
First of all, we really liked the Elite Specializations, they made gameplay really enjoyable, although I am sure without my friends I could not obtain the skill points alone.
The glider and the bouncing mushrooms and such features was a really nice idea, made the entire gameplay much more interesting and colourful, I’ve really enjoyed that part personally.
But I am not here to speak about the features.
My topic is about the STORY.
Well, as we all was shocked by the grave facts that sylvari kind belong to the jungle dragon, I am going to tell an even more shocking fact.

So, in the dephts of the thorns there is a place which is kinda near to Tyria’s planet’s core. So there Mordremoth lives. It is an elite dragon requires atleast 10 well-experienced players in a squad. We were killing him with 3 druids, 4 berserkers, and 3 reapers. So we got into his lair, then we did the epic fight. We tried it 3 times, and after 4 hours of failure Mordremoth finally died.
Inside the giant human-plant-like dragon there were sitting a little creepy asura. He was just a bit bigger than Taimi. After we’ve destroyed his machine he told us everything in an epic movie clip. How he created the sylvari kind, how he got control over the waypoints & the entire world. When our characters asked him why he did it, he told us that his girlfriend’s father was the head of the Arcane Council, and he didn’t want his daughter to be with a failure like him, so he has gone crazy, he wanted to destroy the world, so he went into the jungle, started his mad experiments like time machine, life longering potions, etc. So he ended up creating a new kind we all know as sylvari.
In the end he was crying for his life. So our characters didn’t kill him. But it was just a trick, a way to distract our attention. So he has escaped. Probably a sequel will come in the Living World Season 3.
