I didnt get to play the map betas but was there an indication of how spread the hero challenges were? I know it’s problably hard to tell but im just trying to figure out the most effective way to boost my revs HPs to herald. Solo or lfg event HP challenge vanilla runs vs solo HoT zones. Even if HoT zones are potentially only 4 theyre layered and i dont know how hard/tied to masteries it is at getting there.
Furthermore we dont know if the elite spec items will be the last in the line (which i hope) which would save us some time.

Im guessing a good start is to have at it in HoT zones as 1 HP challenge equals 10, and they might be easier to reach in the beginning zones, and then at some point when hit by masteries wall go over to vanilla zones.

The first map has about 15 that you can get within an hour or so but you’ll need gliding for several of them.

Edit: Wasn’t paying attention and mixed them up. At this point, we do not know how the hero points will be in the expansion zones.

You are thinking mastery points. As far as I know there were no hero challenges in the first map.

Unless mastery points also give hero points? if they do I didn’t notice.

No, you’re right.

If you’re planning to get the majority of your hero points in the new map, it would likely be wise to level your gliding mastery first. That way when you come across that first “unreachable” hero challenge, you won’t be pulling your hair out onto the floor. :-)

Of course if the hero point challenge you come across requires jumping to it from a mushroom instead… well I’ll get the broom.
