Guild Wars 2

Hi I don’t know why but I can’t make a beta character on my account. I have no extra beta slot and the log in screen looks the same. I have found a portal stone for the beta but I have not received an email for details of the beta prior to today 5/26/15. I had contacted support and they told me that I shouldn’t have a problem ad I could just log in and that there would be an extra beta character slot available. I know it’s not the end of the world and that I am not missing much if I don’t play the beta, but I would like to know why I am having so much trouble.
