HoT Expanison w/o core game inc.?
Their excuse just show how gullible gw2 playerbase is. I’ve always supported anet since gw1 launch but when they make a stupid marketing decision someone need to let them know we’re not digging it.
I actually support bundling the core game in HoT as a really good thing for new players that’s not the issue the issue is HoT is over priced in the first place.

Yes maybe I wasn’t clear enough, I’m not against the current bundle, but have an alternative for players that already have the core game.
Anet has said in other threads that the xpac is $50 and the core game is bundled in free. I personally agree with the xpac being $50 I think people just underestimate the amount of content and playtime they will actually do in it. If they don’t like that they think they are being scammed. That is their problem and they don’t have to buy it. But overall I think it helps the community. Brings in new young uns and is a fair price in general.

Which is a blatant lie. Neither GW2 nor HoT are currently available for purchase, but only as a bundle.
Claiming that GW2 is worth $0 and HoT the full $50 is no less preposterous than claiming that everything is free, and we are only really playing for Elementalist’s specialization. They are products with no commercial value, and marketers are free to arbitrarily attach an estimated prize to them to make the sale look more attractive.
