HoT Legendaries: FutureTP options?
Personally I would say no….Let us not go back to the biggest flaw of the first legendaries. Obviously the first legendaries need to stay in their state so that people can choose to buy if they want it but not want to craft it or if people want to craft it and then gain some money
I doubt it. Making them account-bound was done for a number of reasons, and was likely a very involved discussion on the part of the development team. I don’t see them waffling on that decision.
Indeed, I wouldn’t expect them to ever become tradable. Having a HoT legendary means you’ve actually earned it the hard(er) way, and not just with mommy’s magic credit card or by mindlessly grinding whatever gold mine is most profitable at the moment.
Of course, that’s more applicable to the four “journey” legendaries rather than the new mace and future items.
Another reason why they’re not tradeable is to bar people who don’t own HoT from acquiring them.
You can only make each one once. You cannot make 2 of the same legendary using the HoT way.
The only ways to get 2 of the same legendary is to have one of the HoT and one of the “old” way OR do 2 of the same from the “old” way.

Therein lies the problem though. If the HoT legs aren’t TP-able, doesn’t that restrict the way people choose to get them? Honestly, I think it’s a mistake on Anet’s part not to allow it. Think about it. People would be more inclined to purchase gems to convert to gold to buy them.

Didn’t they say the same thing about the original set?
in other word u just want to buy it without putting any work into it. Nice try but NO.

Lol, who said I want to buy one? Perhaps I’ve nearly finished crafting one and now regret it and want a return of investment?
Don’t make assumptions please.
