The original personal story revolves around pre mordrimoth, so how will new players using the Revenant class work. Will there be alterations, or will their stories start much later? Its a bit odd to have Revenants running around before Rhytlock learns of the Revenant powers in the mists

HoT starts immediatly after the pact fleet massacre. Rhytlock had yet to show up at that point. I was under the impression he was the first Revenant, so how are there going to be more Revenants so soon yet Rhytlock has yet to teach anyone.

In the original Guildwars, these questions didnt need to be asked as the new classes with the new expansion had new storylines.

Since there is no class personal story only race and over all story i dont se a problem, were in the story do anyone say -hey you elementalist come do this.

Your a heavy armor person thats all you are.

As linken said, there is no class element to the PS so there is no conflict there. The PS will keep on going the same as it has been.

Incongruities between the LW and the rest of the world will be handled the same way incongruities around Zhaitans death were handled. They’ll be ignored. You don’t play MMOs for consistencies in the time line.

Since the Mists allow travel in time and space, we have all the timey wimey stuffs to make this fit with no problems.

im with you on this one,the previous story focused on the dragons,first we killed zaitan,then theres mordamorth,or whatever his name is,idk how there going to explain all the revanants when no one has been anywhere but the start area is there a story to it,about how the revanants came to be ? like the asura being forced to the surface ? and now out to fight the new dragon ? i cant wait to see a asura revanant on youtube kicking butt not sure if ill make one,maybe i will

On another lore point for the Rev, I’m really looking forward to the dynamic of having the Rev occasionally talking to its chosen legend will bring. I’ve been around since the early days of GW1 and have seen Anet’s creativity in action many times. I look forward to the added depth this will bring to this rpg. So unique, so interesting, so excited!

I would like Deputy Mira to become revenant she can be new Watch Commander of the Claw Island. She could talk with Watch Commander Talon and other fallen lionguards on the Claw Island and Tybalt, Forgal, Sieran. She would be very insteresting revenant to hear her conversations with ghosts, legends.

Mira had no ties from GW1 I believe. All the ‘legends’ span that far back, with Ventari being from GWEN.
Mira IS legendary just not ancient enough.

Since we’re talking lore, why is the Rev getting Legends from areas that Tyrians have no current access to?

Ventari was from prophecies. Although he also showed up in GWEN. Just like Jalis in that regard.
