Guild Wars 2

I am absolutely in love with all of the music in HOT as well. Is there a quick and easy way to identify the name of each theme and the composer?

I just wish we could hear the new music on the char select screen also in the game. Then I would be a lot happier.

Labyrinthine Cliffs still tops everything added post-launch in my books. Some of the HoT pieces do come close, though.

Generally speaking, GW2 music is awesome, so it’s hard to top any of the pieces, really.

I really like the theme that plays underground in Tangled Depths and sometimes near ley lines gliding. It just has the perfect feeling of being underground to it. Dark and deep.

I agree with the music, it’s really superb. You usually don’t pay attention to a soundtrack. If it’s doing its job it’s in the background and amplifying the mood and theme of a certain scene.

Guild wars 2 has in general a music score that lands it in the top shelf of game music, and should take its place along side such epic music tracks as Final Fantasy 6, Secret of Mana, Zelda series and Warcraft. I wasn’t that surprised that Heart of Thorns managed to come with an epic music track.

Hands of and standing ovation to the composer, conductor and performers of the music. It’s as close to perfection as you can get.

I’ve very much enjoyed the new music in GW2 since Season 2, and HoT is no exception.

And I have to agree with others – please release a soundtrack with the new musics.
