Why the hell do I need so many Hero points to get the new traits, seriously I dislike pve but to get it I must go and play pve. So Why didnt they give everyone Hero points when we lvl up seriously everyone would be happy about that

You don’t need to do pve.
They are unlocked automatically in pvp and hero points can be bought in wvw.

That does seem to be the Hot (no pun intended) topic over the last few days. With all the ingame post I’ve seen in relation it’s fairly accurate to say the ones that agree with the grind are the minority.

So if a character has map completion they will “only” have to gain 40 levels in WvW to cap out their eSpec traits? If they don’t have any extra HPs (eg. if a character was levelled using Tomes) they will need 80 levels in WvW.

As things stand, you either grind WvW ranks or grind mastery then grind HPs for the elite spec.

So please Colin, stop mentioning your ‘no grind’ philosophy of the game next time. It is nothing but grind now!
