HoT Ranged Concern
Well most ppl want fast dungeon runs => high damage =>Mele => zerg
Unless they do a very in depth combat revamp, I believe staying together in melee will be preferable at most times due to the short range of most useful boon and support skills cover. It is safe to assume the dungeon meta will remain melee.
longbow rangers wanna play longbow in dungeons and can still do, if they play with their friends, but if you play with pugs, who are experienced, you gotta keep up with them and stay melee , thats how the game works, and probably still will stay the same when HoT comes out.
pve, sepcifically dungeons, every class is fine with full zerker, except necros, they are useless outside dps, which since you can only have 5 people in a party, i’d never pick a necro over other classes.
pvp, you can play any class even the cele cancer builds have weaknesses. All classes are used in pvp, just because top pvpers dont use them for tournaments doesnt mean you shouldn’t try them.

I doubt it. Melee isn’t just popular for the typically higher damage. Its much easier to boon and field share at melee. And maybe it’s just me but it seems unfair to make ranged just as good as melee. It typically has a lot less risk, so to me it should be less effective. Just my personal opinion.
