Hi, this is probably a nooby questions but are the portals for beta access still dropping?

I don’t know if they are or not, but as last weekend was touted as the “last weekend” to get them, if they’re still coming then it’s an oversight on ANet’s part.

Have anyone gotten one of them since that weekend? I was greeted with this http://i.imgur.com/ocN60Dj.png when I logged in to the forums today so was curious if it’s still possible.

They’re quantum portals and they are simultaneously dropping and not dropping. You’ll need to farm with your eyes shut so the quantum state doesn’t collapse though.

I asked in the silverwastes multiple times and everyone said they no longer dropped. I know this is not official word but it is better than nothing. Because of this I would not farm for them too much unless it is confirmed that they do infact still drop.

Been spending much of my playing time in the SW and have not seen anyone link a portal in quite a few days. Most have been linking their drops in excitement when they did drop so it is probably safe to assume it is over.

This is a perfect example of the communication issues. I can understand holding out on new features still in development, but things like this we should know about.

Yep. The announcement at the top of the forum is 20 days old now. The portal event has been over for at least a week, and no update.
