Umm I’m guessing this is a bug but at the moment it currently says the deluxe version is £75 next to the add to cart button even though it is supposed to be $75. Any dev comment on this?

I was charged 69 UK pounds for it. I used PayPal and that was the cost with the exchange rate etc.

Should be £47 or at the most £50 when you take the conversion into account.

Hmm yeah must be a bug, its also mentions that the gems are £42, strange mix of USD and £ throughout the whole thing, I guess you are American but playing in EU? maybe that’s causing the bug or something.
I’m a Brit playing in Australia lol!

you’re right and wrong here. there’s a reason that it costs us more in the UK, but it doesn’t cover the whole amount.
the deluxe edition is $75. assuming a 5.45% sales tax (rough average for the US) we get a price of $71.12 before tax. if we then apply the UK’s 20% Value Added Tax rate, we get a price of $85.34, which when converted into GBP gives us £53.63, lower than the the £60 being charged, but not outrageously so.
that said, if we convert the $85.34 into euros, we get €74.80.
so the prices are mostly due to tax differences.
however, the real question is why are brits overpaying by $10, while other europeans only overpay by $0.20?

It’s because of the VAT that we’re overpaying:
£35 * 0.2 = £7
£60 * 0.2 = £12
£80 * 0.2 = £16
£35 – £7 = £28
£60 – £12 = £48
£80 – £16 = £64
£28 in USD = $44.56
£48 in USD = $76.38
£64 in USD = $101.82
As you can see, before the 20% VAT the prices are a lot closer to the US prices.
