The game looks amazing and fun, but one thing that annoys me to no end is:

Waaaaayyyyyy to much useless verticality !

It wouldn’t be such a BIG issue if you did a better job of signaling on the mini map if an objective I’m running towards is on my level, a level above or below me.

Nothing is more annoying than trying to get somewhere only to find out the bloody thing you want is WAY above you, requiring much backtrack and wasting my time !

That is the single most annoying thing I have to say against HoT, everything else I love.

Especially the mob difficulty.

LOVE: Raids & Fractals.
HATE: Jumping puzzles.
DESPISE: TIME GATES, RNG & THE TRINITY !

This. Please let the map have levels as I wasted much time trying to get to the north pointlessly. It’s very frustrating seeing something on the map right in front of you but completely inaccessible.

I think the biggest thing is the minimap in particular- if you go by what you can see around you and/or what you remember from running around the map, it’s a lot easier to deal with. The problem is that the minimap exists, and is supposed to be useful, but becomes basically useless when dealing with high verticality maps. Not sure what the best way to adjust it would be.

Yes. The map and mini-map should have layers like in the cities.

For example at the POI Holdfast Hollow there is an event (and adventure) in the cave and an event on the ground directly above the cave. From the map you cannot see the difference.
