Guild Wars 2

in terms of how big or many compare to gw2 initial release, how many area or maps going to be open? no one seems to ask this? and i know not all are revealed in the trailer but i have a feeling its going to be small in terms of area. like its going to be just 3 maps and going to be very vertically high and full of masteries to be able to progress. so just it seems it will take awhile to complete. how wrong am i?

While I’m hoping that the GW2 engine is updated to allow 2x/4x/even bigger maps than what’s currently in the game… I doubt it. They have previously stated that the maps they have now is as big as it is technically possible to make GW2 maps. Meaning we will never see any bigger maps. That’s not to say they cant make up for it with excellent design and more verticality (just look at EoTM) but still… Same size as now.

Actually, if you go through the section for HoT you’ll see that there are plenty threads about the number/size/etc.
